Your bank
On the line
That's CalmCalls — your voice, ready when you need it. Built by Evan & Lewis, from lived experience.
Three simple steps
No complicated setup. No downloads for the person you're calling. Just confidence — built by two brothers who stammer, for people like us.
Record your voice
Pre-record phrases you find difficult — your name, address, policy numbers. In your voice, at your pace.
Start a call from your number
CalmCalls places calls directly from your phone number. The receiver has no idea you're using an app.
Tap phrases when you need them
During difficult moments, tap a saved phrase and it plays instantly through the call — smooth, natural, seamless.
See the voice notes you'd save
For every call, there are details you can prepare in advance — your name, address, account number. Pre-record them once, then tap to play mid-call.

Imagine the call without the dread
Everything you need to speak on your own terms — and nothing you don't.
Your voice. Not a robot.
Pre-record phrases in your own voice. When you tap to play them, it sounds like you — because it is you.
They'll never know.
Calls come from your number. No app on the receiver's end. To them, it's just a normal phone call.
Tap when you need it.
Stuck on a word? Tap a saved phrase and it plays instantly through the call. No silence. No panic.
Built by people who get it.
Made by two brothers who stammer. Not a therapy app — a practical tool for real life.
Why we built this
We’ve been hung up on, spoken over, and made to feel small until we simply gave up. For too long, we avoided the phone at all costs, trading our independence for comfort. CalmCalls was born from these shared struggles and a relentless drive to reclaim our voices.
This is a failure of design, not of speech.
Founded by brothers
Evan stammers · Lewis stammers
CalmCalls was created by two brothers who stammer. Growing up, they both relied on their parents to make calls for them, booking dentist appointments, calling the GP, dealing with insurance. At some point, they decided: that stops here.
The moment it clicked
Independence over avoidance
"We didn't want to rely on anyone anymore. We wanted to call our own dentist, book our own appointments, deal with our own bank, on our own terms. So we built the tool we wish we'd always had."
Built for everyone like us
70 million people worldwide
We're not therapists. We're not trying to "fix" anyone. We're two people who know exactly what it feels like, and we're building the thing that would have changed our lives.
